HCMC – The selection of an investor for a VND282-billion project to build rest areas along Cam Lo-La Son Expressway will take place in the third quarter of this year, according to the Vietnam Expressway Authority under the Ministry of Transport.
The investor will be chosen through a nationwide competitive tender, the Vietnam News Agency reported.
The project will require VND275 billion for construction and over VND7 billion for land clearance compensation and resettlement.
The rest area project is part of the Cam Lo-La Son Expressway project. The right-side rest area will cover a total area of 6.1 hectares, while the left-side one will span 5.17 hectares. These rest areas will feature public service, commercial service and other facilities.
According to the plan, the rest areas will be located in Hai Chanh Commune, Hai Lang District, Quang Tri Province. The construction period is expected to last 15 months.
