Le Méridien Saigon is set to bring a unique culinary experience to the city this March, recreating the vibrant atmosphere of Japan’s famed Tsukiji Market.
The hotel’s restaurant, Latest Recipe, will host an immersive dining event featuring premium Japanese seafood, live demonstrations, and authentic street food.
The event is a collaboration between Le Méridien Saigon and Maguro Studio, a renowned Japanese restaurant specializing in bluefin tuna and Omakase-style dining. Seafood enthusiasts will have the opportunity to witness a live whole bluefin tuna-cutting performance, a time-honored tradition in Japan’s largest fish markets.
Japanese masters from Maguro Studio, alongside Chef Phi Cong of Le Méridien Saigon, will prepare a selection of premium dishes, highlighting the artistry and precision of Japanese seafood craftsmanship. Guests can enjoy a vibrant seafood buffet from Thursday to Saturday during dinner service, while a special Sunday brunch will focus on the freshest sashimi selections.
