JW Marriott has expanded its footprint in Vietnam with the opening of the JW Marriott Cam Ranh Bay Resort & Spa, a beachfront property that combines local cultural heritage with modern luxury on the country’s central coast.

Located on a 22-hectare site along Bai Dai Beach, the resort marks the brand’s debut in Cam Ranh, a growing destination known for its natural beauty and tranquil shoreline. Designed by studios AND, Super Potato, and PIA, the resort’s architecture draws inspiration from the five natural elements — wood, fire, earth, metal, and water — creating a harmonious connection between design and landscape.

The property offers 203 guest rooms and 27 private villas, some with infinity pools overlooking the ocean. Interiors feature natural materials and Vietnamese accents that reflect the coastal surroundings. Guests can enjoy ocean views, tropical gardens, and direct access to a 10-kilometer stretch of white sand beach.

Dining options include Clay Craft, inspired by traditional pottery, and Seafood Grill, which highlights local catches cooked over open flames. Other venues such as Ocean Bar, Bayside Bistro, and The Pool Bar offer casual beachfront dining and sunset cocktails.

The resort also features The Pottery Club, an artisan workshop inspired by the ancient Champa pottery of Bau Truc Village. For relaxation, The Spa by JW offers eight treatment rooms and a vitality pool, while the JW Garden provides organic produce for the resort’s restaurants.

“JW Marriott Cam Ranh Bay embodies our belief that connecting with nature nurtures the soul,” said General Manager David Ippersiel. “This sanctuary blends Vietnamese heritage and world-class luxury, offering guests an authentic, restorative experience on Vietnam’s most beautiful shores.”
