KMS Technology sponsors US$350,000 to improve the lives of underserved Vietnamese children and women

KMS Technology and VinaCapital Foundation officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on November 28, 2024, funding US$350,000 to deliver healthcare and education solutions for underserved Vietnamese children and women.

Through this partnership, KMS Technology is committed to supporting VinaCapital Foundation to provide healthcare and education solutions for those most in need. These programs for disadvantaged groups contribute to a thriving Vietnam where all children and women are healthy, educated, and empowered to benefit from economic growth and contribute to a dynamic Vietnam.

“KMS Technology is committed to making a positive impact on society, and VinaCapital Foundation’s mission has significantly deepened our appreciation for this cause. Through our partnership, we aspire to work hand in hand with VinaCapital Foundation to enhance vital healthcare and educational solutions for underserved children and women in Vietnam, ultimately contributing to a sustainable future for the country,” said Tran Trong Dai, Managing Director of KMS Technology.

KMS Technology has been working with VinaCapital Foudation in different projects to support the community

With 8 healthcare and education programs, VinaCapital Foundation’s mission is to transform the lives of underserved and marginalized children and women in Vietnam. Since its inception in 2006, VinaCapital Foundation has:

  • Sponsored life-saving surgeries for more than 11,000 children with congenital heart defects through the Heartbeat Vietnam
  • Provided free heart examinations for nearly 400,000 children in rural areas through the Rural Outreach Clinics
  • Solely supported and continues to support 2,354 children affected by COVID-19 in Ho Chi Minh City through the Care to Rise program
  • Empowered nearly 3,000 ethnic minority female students through the Brighter Path program
  • Launched 28 Brighter Path Girls’ Clubs with the participation of 1,140 female ethnic minority members to help them overcome outdated customs and barriers
  • Donated 542 pieces of essential neonatal care equipment and enhanced neonatal care capacity for rural medical centers through the Survive to Thrive program
  • Installed 119 clean water filtration systems for provincial hospitals, medical centers, and schools through the Clean Water program
  • Provide holistic support for pediatric cancer patients through the Can-Clover program
