HCMC – A landslide struck the northern upland province of Bac Kan early today morning, June 18, leaving four people in a family dead and one injured, said local media reports.
At around 0:30 a.m. today, June 18, a landslide hit an area of the Nguyen Loan Commune, Pac Nam Ward, Bac Kan Province.
At the time of the landslide, there were five people in the house. Only one managed to escape, while the four others were buried under the rubble.
Right after receiving the news, local residents and local rescue teams swiftly arrived at the scene to search for the victims. After over five hours, the rescue teams located four individuals, yet all found dead.
