HCMC – Lam Dinh Hiep, a local resident in Tuyen Quang Province’s Ham Yen District, was killed this morning, May 24, after a landslide buried his home.
The incident occurred at around 9 a.m. at the National Highway 2 section passing through this northern province.
On being notified of the landslide, the local rescue forces quickly approached the scene and offered support to the deceased’s family.
Between May 22 and 24, Tuyen Quang experienced heavy downpours that destroyed properties and animals, while landslides disrupted road traffic.
