HCMC – The northern province of Lang Son has inked a deal with investors to build an expressway to connect Huu Nghi and Chi Lang border gates.
The expressway will be developed under the build-operation-transfer (BOT) format by a consortium of investors, including Deo Ca Construction JVC, Deo Ca Corp JVC, 568 Project Construction JVC, and LIZEN JVC.
The project’s total cost is VND11,024 billion, with nearly VND5,500 billion sourced from the State budget.
Stretching nearly 60 kilometers across Chi Lang, Cao Loc, Van Lang districts and Lang Son City, the expressway is planned to be completed in 2026.
Lang Son sees the expressway project as impotant since it is located along the economic corridor of Nanning (China)-Lang Son-Haiphong-Quang Ninh, facilitating trade between Vietnam and China, as well as other Southeast Asian countries.
