Vinh Thanh fishing village is located between the Tu Hien and Thuan An estuaries in Phu Vang District, around 20 kilometers from Hue City. For more than 100 households in this fishing community, the sea is constantly a livelihood and a challenge.

Fishing trips, often extending 20-30 nautical miles offshore, are fraught with danger. Yet, for these hardworking fishermen, the sea is a lifeline, offering an abundance of aquatic resources to feed them and their families. Despite the risks and physically demanding nature of their work, the villagers remain deeply connected to the sea.
