HCMC – Domestic fuel retail prices have been reduced by more than VND500 per liter, effective from 3 p.m. today, November 23, according to a joint announcement by the ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance.
RON 95-III gasoline is now priced at VND23,020 per liter, a decrease of VND510, while E5 RON 92 bio-gasoline costs VND21,690, a reduction of VND580.
Diesel oil is available at VND20,280 per liter, down by VND600, and kerosene has declined by VND570 to VND20,940 per liter. The price of heavy fuel oil moves sideways at VND15,630 per kilogram.
During this fuel price adjustment, the two ministries have opted not to impose a surcharge on all fuels to replenish the fuel price stabilization fund. Moreover, local fuel traders are not authorized to access the fund.
It is worth mentioning that in the past three adjustment periods, the authorities also refrained from utilizing the fuel price stabilization fund.
