HCMC – Retail prices of fuels dropped by about VND500 at 3.00 p.m. today, May 30, following a joint decision by the ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance.
Bio-fuel E5 RON92 now sells for VND21,750 per liter, falling by VND520, while the higher-grade RON95-III petrol is capped at VND22,510 per liter, down by VND700. Diesel oil is now priced at VND19,740 per liter, down by VND90.
The prices of other fuels have risen. Kerosene edged up by VND30 to VND19,930 per liter, while heavy fuel oil is up VND20 to VND17,530 per kilogram.
During this fuel price adjustment, the two ministries continued to impose no surcharges on all types of fuel.
