HCMC – The ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance revised up domestic fuel retail prices by nearly VND500 per liter today, October 23.

RON 95-III, the popular gasoline in Vietnam, is now priced at VND23,510 per liter, up by VND470. E5 RON 92 bio-gasoline costs VND22,360 per liter, up by VND460.

Diesel oil is up by VND70 at VND22,480 per liter, while kerosene now sells for VND22,750 per liter, an increase of VND290.

Heavy fuel oil is currently priced at VND16,610 per kilogram, rising by VND380.

During this fuel price adjustment, the two ministries decided not to impose a surcharge on all types of fuel, and local fuel traders are not allowed to tap the fund.

In the previous round of regular fuel price adjustment on October 11, fuel retail prices dropped by over VND1,000 per liter.

In the year to date, the country has seen 31 rounds of fuel price revision, with 18 rising, nine falling and four staying unchanged.
