Local fuel prices rise

HCMC – Fuel prices have inched up today, April 4, following a joint decision by the ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance.

The retail price of RON 95-III gasoline remains almost unchanged at VND24,800 per liter, as it is down by a modest VND10. Meanwhile, E5 RON 92 bio-gasoline is now capped at VND23,910 per liter, rising by VND290 per liter.

Other types of fuel also marked up in price.

Diesel oil has been revised up by VND290 to VND20,980 per liter, while kerosene has risen by VND140 to VND21,010 per liter.

Heavy fuel oil has increased by VND150 to VND17,290 per kilogram.

A surcharge of VND300 per kilogram is now imposed on heavy fuel oil.
