HCMC – Gasoline and diesel oil prices in Vietnam edged up today, June 20, according to an announcement jointly issued by the ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance.
RON 95-III gasoline increased by VND230 to VND22,460 per liter, while E5 RON 92 bio-gasoline inched up by VND190 to VND21,500 per liter.
Diesel oil now costs VND20,360 per liter, up by VND720, and kerosene rose by VND500 to VND20,350 per liter.
Heavy fuel oil price is set at VND17,220 per kilogram, up by VND340.
During this fuel price adjustment, no surcharge was imposed on any type of gasoline or oil products.
The ministries attributed the price increases to tensions in the Middle East and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which have driven up global oil prices.
