HCMC – The fall in domestic gold prices has continued as the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) revised down its gold bar price to VND75.98 per tael this morning, June 6, said local media reports.
Today’s price at which the SBV sold gold bars to the authorized four state-run commercial banks and Saigon Jewelry Company (SCJ) was VND1 million per tael lower than yesterday’s level.
At around 11 a.m. today, SJC quoted the yellow metal at VND74.98 million per tael for buying and VND76.98 million per tael for selling, down VND1.8 million per tael and VND1 million per tael compared to yesterday, respectively.
Meanwhile, Phu Nhuan Jewelry (PNJ) reduced its gold bar prices by VND1.9 million per tael on the buying side and VND1 million per tael on the selling side against yesterday to the range of VND74.98 million and VND76.98 million.
Bao Tin Minh Chau bought SJC gold bars at VND75.5 million per tael and sold them at VND76.98 million per tael, a decrease of VND1.5 million per tael on the buying side and VND1 million per tael on the selling side compared to yesterday.
