Hotel Nikko Saigon will host “Rasa Malaysia – Malaysia Food & Cultural Week” from July 28 to August 3, offering a vibrant culinary and cultural experience curated by visiting chefs and performers from Malaysia.
The weeklong event at La Brasserie restaurant will feature two guest chefs from Malaysia: Chef Badarol Hisham Bin Abd Hamid, a specialist in traditional Malaysian cuisine, and Chef Pyan Mohd Suffian Bin Md Ali, known for his dynamic street food demonstrations. Together, they will present an exclusive buffet menu featuring Malaysian favorites, including Curry Laksa, Nasi Lemak, and Ais Kacang, all prepared using authentic techniques.
The culinary celebration will be accompanied by traditional dance performances by the Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur Dance Troupe and live cooking demonstrations. Guests can also interact with the event’s Sunbear mascot and receive daily cultural gifts through a lucky draw sponsored by Tourism Malaysia.
A 20% discount will be extended to guests presenting Malaysia Airlines or AirAsia boarding passes and members of the Malaysia Business Chamber throughout the event.
Tourism Malaysia and affiliated travel partners will also host cultural showcases on-site, adding a broader dimension to the festivities.
Hotel Nikko Saigon’s Rasa Malaysia festival aims to offer both locals and international guests a rich, immersive taste of Malaysian culture, right in the heart of Vietnam’s largest city.
