Visitors to Vietnam’s central coast are being offered an early-morning meditation experience at one of Danang’s most prominent spiritual landmarks, combining mindfulness practice with cultural exploration on the Son Tra Peninsula.
TIA Wellness Resort has introduced a guided wellness tour that takes guests to Linh Ung Pagoda, home to the towering Lady Buddha statue overlooking the city and coastline.
The program, known as Breathe, is designed to provide a calm and reflective start to the day in an active place of worship that is also a major tourist attraction.
The excursion begins at 6:00 a.m., when guests travel from the resort to Linh Ung Pagoda, the largest pagoda complex in Danang. After a brief introduction to the site, participants take part in a guided meditation session on the pagoda grounds, with an emphasis on breathing and present-moment awareness.
Following the meditation, the tour continues with a visit to the main Lady Buddha statue, which stands as the tallest of its kind in Vietnam. The statue is widely regarded as a symbol of peace and prosperity and has become an iconic feature of the Son Tra Peninsula skyline.
The entire experience lasts about two and a half hours, concluding at 8:30 a.m., allowing guests to return to the resort or continue their day’s activities.
Wellness tourism has been growing steadily in Danang, a coastal city known for its beaches, mountain landscapes and spiritual sites. By combining meditation, cultural heritage and natural scenery, the tour reflects a broader trend among resorts in Vietnam to integrate wellness practices with local traditions and destinations.
