Solite, a proud brand of Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam, today launches its new product Solite Nature Fresh which uses 100% cage-free eggs. This is the premium product in Solite’s portfolio and the first product that uses 100% cage-free eggs. With this bold step toward sustainable sourcing, Mondelez Kinh Do has become the first company in the food industry to use cage-free eggs certified Humane label by global HFAC (Humane Farm Animal Care), and Solite is the pioneer brand using cage-free eggs in Vietnam.
The new Solite Nature Fresh product, with a totally different packaging design inspired by the farm and nature, brings a humanitarian message of animal welfare. The delicious taste of the soft sponge cake and the tender cream filling that come together with eco-friendly packaging design enable Solite Nature Fresh to continue giving Moms and Kids the softness from the smallest things.
As part of its sustainable development plan, Mondelez Kinh Do has developed a long-term strategy to support the Vietnamese livestock industry by joining hands with egg suppliers who plan to build an ecological system and high-welfare breeding environment, contributing to a sustainable future for the next generations.
For this breakthrough product Solite Nature Fresh, Mondelez Kinh Do uses cage-free eggs supplied by Vinh Thanh Dat (V. Food), one of the first egg producers and processing companies that earned the Certified Humane label in Vietnam. Vinh Thanh Dat’s cage-free egg project is freeing thousands of hens from cages and with the assistance of Humane Society International (HSI), helping the Vietnam livestock industry make an enhanced move to cage-free.
Also, in this launch, Solite carried out many marketing activities specifically for the new product line, including a product launch campaign on mainstream and social media, as well as exciting activities at supermarkets and other community events to follow.
Solite Nature Fresh products are now widely available since December 2022 on major e-commerce channels (Shopee, Lazada…), and supermarkets such as Coop, Bach Hoa Xanh, Big C, AEON, and Lotte nationwide.
