HCMC – The railway industry will use more trains to accommodate the travel demand during the coming National Day (September 2) holiday, according to the Vietnam News Agency.
Several pairs of trains are scheduled to run daily on the North-South route.
Vietnam Railways (VNR) will also operate extra trains on popular routes, including HCMC-Nha Trang, HCMC-Quy Nhon, Nha Trang-Danang, and Hanoi-Quang Binh.
An additional train will operate between Saigon Railway Station and Quy Nhon from August 29 to September 2, and another train between Quy Nhon and Saigon Railway Station from August 30 to September 3.
On the route between HCMC and Nha Trang, an additional train will run between Saigon Railway Station and Nha Trang on August 29 and 30, and another train on August 30. From Nha Trang to Saigon Station, train service is scheduled for September 2 and 3.
On the Nha Trang-Danang route, a train will run from Nha Trang to Danang on August 30 and September 1, while a train will run from Danang to Nha Trang on August 31 and September 2.
For the Hanoi-Dong Hoi route, trains will depart from Hanoi Station on August 30, and trains will depart from Dong Hoi Station on September 2 and 3.
On the Hanoi-Lao Cai route, an extra train will leave Hanoi on August 30, and a train will depart from Lao Cai on August 31. For the Hanoi-Haiphong route, additional trains will be operated.
