More trains put into service after Tet holiday

HCMC – The railway industry has operated more trains on different routes to serve the travel demand after the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, reported the Vietnam News Agency.

A pair of trains, SE23 and SE24, operated by Hanoi Railway Transport JSC,
commenced service yesterday, February 22, on the Hanoi-HCMC route.

The SE23 train is scheduled to run from Hanoi Railway Station until February 26, while the SE24 train is set to depart from Saigon Railway Station until tomorrow.

On February 25, another pair of trains, LP10 and HD2, will be in service on the Hanoi-Haiphong route.

Moreover, the company will continue to provide various promotions to assist train passengers, including a 5% discount on return tickets for round-trip ticket purchasers and discounts of 10-20% on ticket prices for students, depending on the departure date.

For the HCMC-Nha Trang route, Saigon Railway Transport JSC will operate an additional SNT4/SNT5 train pair on March 6 and 7. The STN4 train will depart from HCMC on March 6, while the other will depart from Nha Trang on March 7.

The company has also implemented various discount programs for social policy beneficiaries, students, trade union members, and passengers with membership cards.
