HCMC – The 15th National Assembly (NA) is set to convene its eighth extraordinary session on August 26 in Hanoi to decide on personnel matters.
NA Secretary General Bui Van Cuong announced today that the one-day session will begin at 8 a.m.
The session will focus on reviewing personnel-related issues required of the NA’s authority, in accordance with the Constitution and relevant laws.
The Party Central Committee met on August 16 to make personnel decisions and give feedback to the Politburo to introduce candidates for senior state positions in the 2021-2026 term, which must be decided by the National Assembly.
