As the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day approaches (September 2), the country is filled with a festive and lively atmosphere.

In the capital city of Hanoi, the highly anticipated parade and march at Ba Dinh Square are drawing people from all parts of the country. Despite the scorching heat or unexpected downpours, the crowd waits patiently, united in their excitement.

This spirit of national pride also shines through in HCMC. A new mural street with the theme “Beautiful Vietnam” was recently opened on Nguyen Huu Canh Street in the downtown area. It features landscapes of the homeland and recreates the historic parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the south and the reunification of the nation on April 30, showcasing armed forces, officials, and the public. This vibrant mural acts as a powerful symbol, conveying historical messages and honoring past achievements.
