HCMC – The National Assembly (NA) will hold a presidential election at its eighth sitting in October this year, the legislature’s general secretary Bui Van Cuong was quoted by the Vietnam News Agency as saying.
At the press conference on the outcomes of the eighth extraordinary session of the 15th NA yesterday, August 26, Cuong said the election of State President is in line with the Party Central Committee’s resolution.
