At Van Don International Airport, three flights were canceled on July 21, while Cat Bi International Airport recorded 33 cancellations.

Earlier, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) temporarily suspended operations at Van Don and Cat Bi airports from 11:00 p.m. on July 21 to 12:00 p.m. on July 22.

On the evening of July 21, during an inspection at Noi Bai International Airport, CAAV Director Uong Viet Dung ordered round-the-clock duty, emphasizing the need to remain vigilant against weather conditions.

The Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM) was assigned to mobilize all personnel and equipment to support aviation weather forecasting, ensuring fast and accurate information on the storm’s impact at airports.
