HCMC – South Korea’s Aero K Airline announced on November 16 that it has officially launched regular flights connecting Cheongju International Airport in Chungbuk province and Cam Ranh International Airport in Khanh Hoa Province.
The carrier reported that its inaugural flight on November 14 reached a passenger load factor of 99%, reflecting strong travel demand from tourists in South Korea’s central region.
The new route will operate once daily, departing Cheongju at 19:30 and arriving in Nha Trang at 22:30 local time. The return flight leaves Nha Trang at 23:30 and reaches Cheongju at 06:20 the following morning.
Aero K said Nha Trang is its second destination in Vietnam, following Danang. In recent years, the airline has steadily expanded its international network, adding routes to Japan, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia, aiming to strengthen connectivity for central South Korea.
Founded in 2016, Aero K, named by reversing the word Korea, now serves destinations including Vietnam, Mongolia, Japan, Taiwan, and the Philippines.
