HCMC – Nguyen Hue Flower Street 2024 wrapped up on February 14, the fifth and final day of the Lunar New Year holiday (Tet), having attracted over 1.2 million visitors.
Themed “Spring of Love, Tet Reunion,” the flower show ran from February 7 to 14, delighting visitors with its impressive dragon mascots and intricate flower mini landscapes.
Throughout the Tet holiday, the flower street garnered widespread attention, with an estimated 10 million images related to the event shared across various media platforms and social networks.
Alongside domestic and international visitors, tens of thousands of people downloaded the Seensio Go app, which offered special dragon flying effects above the flower street.
Pham Huy Binh, chairman of Saigontourist Group, said that cleanup will continue until 6 p.m. on February 16. Following the completion of cleanup activities, the two iconic dragon mascots at the entrance of the flower street will remain on display until the end of the lunar month, extending the festive atmosphere for visitors to enjoy.
