HCMC – Saigon Port Joint Stock Company has proposed a project for building the Nha Rong-Khanh Hoi International Passenger Port at a total cost of VND625 billion.
The project will cover 6.86 hectares on the premises of the current port of the same name along Nguyen Tat Thanh Street in District 4.
The international passenger port is designed to accommodate cruise ships carrying up to 1,000 passengers, featuring berths, services, and public utility areas. Of the total investment cost, 30% will come from the investor.
According to a representative from Saigon Port Joint Stock Company, the development of the Nha Rong-Khanh Hoi International Passenger Port is in line with the city’s spatial planning, aiming to transform the existing port into an attractive tourist destination. This move is expected to boost sea tourism and attract more international visitors.
In recent times, Nha Rong-Khanh Hoi Port has hosted numerous international passenger cruises, domestic cruises, and water festivals.
