HCMC – After nearly 14 years of construction, the Nhon-Hanoi urban railway will be put into service in June this year, the Hanoi Metropolitan Railway Management Board (MRB) has announced.
The MRB reported that the metro line, stretching from Nhon to Hanoi station, is now 77.76% complete. The elevated section of the line is already 99.65% done while the underground section is only 37.25% finished.
During a review conference on January 26, Nguyen Cao Minh, head of the MRB, said the elevated section of the line would be test operated in late April.
