HCMC – Authorities have disbursed over VND33.2 trillion for the second phase of the eastern North South Expressway project by the end of October 2023, achieving 75% of the target.
Among the project components, Can Tho-Hau Giang and Vung An-Bung have received the highest disbursement rates, with the former reaching 72% and the latter at 86% of the allocated plan set by the Government.
Several other components, including Bao Vot-Ham Nghi, Bung-Van Ninh, Van Ninh-Cam Lo, Van Phong-Nha Trang, and Hau Giang-Ca Mau, have exceeded 70% of their disbursement targets.
Five additional components, namely Ham Nghi-Vung An, Quang Ngai-Hoai Nhon, Hoai Nhon-Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon-Chi Thanh, and Chi Thanh-Van Phong, have achieved disbursements of over 60% of their respective plans by the end of October this year.
Despite adverse weather conditions in the Central region, contractors working on expressway sections in the area are mobilizing resources and equipment to accelerate bridge and sewer construction to meet project deadlines.
