HCMC – All delegates to the 14th National Party Congress unanimously agreed to adjust the agenda, shortening it by one and a half days and bringing the closing date forward to January 23.
At the end of the discussion session today afternoon, January 21, Pham Gia Tuc, chief of the Party Central Committee Office, said that earlier the same morning the Presidium had sent ballots to all delegations seeking opinions on a draft adjustment to the program of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The result showed that all 40 out of 40 delegations to the Congress supported the proposal, prompting the Presidium to report the matter to the Congress.
At a press briefing ahead of the Congress, Politburo member and Permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu informed the media that the 14th National Party Congress was scheduled to take place from January 19 to 25, 2026.
