HCMC – Phuong Dong Viet Shipping and Logistics Corporation (HOSE: PDV) will finalize the list of shareholders eligible for its 2024 stock dividend on December 3.
The company plans to issue 13.2 million new shares to existing shareholders at a ratio of 100:20, meaning shareholders holding 100 PDV shares will receive 20 additional shares.
PDV, also known as PVT Logistics, debuted over 66 million listed shares on the HOSE on November 19 with a reference price of VND12,450 per share. After two trading sessions, PDV remained steady at VND13,000 per share as of the morning session on November 21.
According to its consolidated financial results, PDV reported net revenue of more than VND1.076 trillion in 2023 and VND1.362 trillion in 2024, with after-tax profit reaching over VND64 billion and VND224 billion, respectively. By the end of the second quarter of 2025, the company generated over VND821 billion in net revenue and nearly VND16 billion in after-tax profit.
Closing the trading session today, November 21, PDV shares finished unchanged at VND13,000, with 53,800 shares traded, valuing the company at roughly VND859 billion.
The VN-Index slipped 1.06 points, or 0.06%, to 1,654.93, with 111 gainers and 204 decliners. Trading volume reached 730.5 million shares worth VND20.09 trillion, up 7% in volume and 2% in value compared to yesterday. Block deal activity contributed 64.5 million shares worth VND1.85 trillion.
For the week, the VN-Index advanced 19.47 points, or 1.19%, marking its second straight week of gains.
The afternoon session saw a mild recovery among VN30 bluechips, with HPG, BCM, FPT, and the Vingroup trio, VRE, VIC, VHM, turning positive. VJC rose 2.2% to VND194,600, while STB expanded its rally to 3.64% at VND51,300.On the losing side, declines remained modest, with HDB slipping 1.9% to VND31,200.
Among mid-cap and small-cap stocks, HQC hit its ceiling at VND3,310 with nearly 30 million shares traded, while other stocks such as HID, LGL, and TMT also closed at their upper limits.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index fell 1.1 points, or 0.42%, to 263.13, with 51 gainers and 83 losers. Total matched volume reached 72.68 million shares worth VND1.73 trillion, accompanied by 11.8 million shares in negotiated deals valued at VND416.5 billion.
