HCMC – Pharmacity and the Vietnam Association for Protection of Child Rights have signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic partnership, marking a major step forward in the pharmacy chain’s commitment to community healthcare.
The signing ceremony took place on November 14 in Hanoi, witnessed by Dang Hoa Nam, director of the Department of Child Affairs under the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, and Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, president of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights.
Following the signing of this partnership, the two parties will collaborate to develop specific programs aimed at providing comprehensive healthcare for children. They will jointly sponsor medical supplies, medicines, and award cash scholarships to children across the country.
The two parties will launch the Doctor Tour, offering free medical check-ups, medicines, and health supplies for children in underserved areas.
They will also collaborate by sharing knowledge, experience, and resources to enhance the quality of healthcare services and contribute to improving public health. This will lay the foundation for building a sustainable support network for community health in the future.
Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa emphasized the importance of this partnership: “Given that many children in disadvantaged areas still lack access to basic healthcare services, Pharmacity’s support is a significant boost, bringing us closer to our goal of providing comprehensive healthcare for children.”
This partnership not only reflects the company’s social responsibility but also provides children with the opportunity to grow in a healthy environment, she added.
