HCMC — Prodezi Long An Joint Stock Company and Swiss Asia Partner SA on April 9 signed a land reservation agreement to advance the Be Milk dairy plant in Tay Ninh Province, a project valued at about US$100 million.

The agreement was reached during a working session between the Swiss investor delegation and Tay Ninh authorities at the provincial People’s Committee headquarters, with participation from the Economic Zone Authority and related agencies.

The Be Milk project will be developed in two phases, with Swiss Asia Partner SA acting as investor and market developer. The project is structured under a partnership and franchise agreement with France’s Sodiaal Group, owner of the Candia brand, to apply European production and quality standards.

The project also involves international partners including IPEM Group (France), Tetra Pak (Sweden), and Takenaka Corporation (Japan), supporting technology and engineering components.

Philippe Phan Van Ho, CEO of Swiss Asia Partner SA, said the investment decision was based on both market potential and the ability to meet long-term operational standards, adding that Tay Ninh offers development potential in food processing.

The project will be implemented at Prodezi Industrial Park, where infrastructure is designed to meet environmental standards. Wastewater systems will meet requirements before connection to centralized treatment, while energy efficiency and resource optimization solutions are integrated into operations.

Truong Khac Nguyen Minh, deputy general director of Prodezi Long An, said that the industrial park follows an eco-oriented model aligned with environmental, social and governance standards, which has attracted international investors.

The meeting also reviewed Tay Ninh’s investment environment and industrial development orientation, as the province seeks to attract high value-added manufacturing projects.

In 2025, Tay Ninh recorded US$1.7 billion in newly registered and adjusted foreign direct investment, ranking among the top 10 localities for large-scale projects.

According to IMARC Group, Vietnam’s dairy market is projected to reach US$13.37 billion by 2033, with a compound annual growth rate of 9.5% from 2025 to 2033.

Once operational, the Be Milk plant is expected to expand domestic dairy processing capacity and support technology transfer, while contributing jobs and budget revenues in Tay Ninh.
