HCMC – The central province of Quang Ngai has completed land clearance for the 60-kilometer Quang Ngai section of the Quang Ngai-Hoai Nhon Expressway and handed over cleared land to contractors.
On June 25, the final household on the section agreed to relocate, removing the last hindrance to site clearance in Duc Pho District. This achievement meets the prime minister’s directive to complete land clearance work by June 30 this year.
The Quang Ngai-Hoai Nhon Expressway, a component of the eastern North-South Expressway for the 2021-2025 period, is over 80 kilometers long, with 60 kilometers of it passing through Quang Ngai Province.
A total of 5,743 households and organizations are affected by the project, including 723 households that need to be resettled.
