HCMC – The railway sector has started selling railway tickets for the 2022 Lunar New Year, or Tet holiday, to serve the rising travel demand of passengers during this peak season.
For the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday due to begin later this month, Vietnam Railway Corporation (VNR) offers tickets for local trains from HCMC to Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Quang Ngai, and vice versa from January 4.
Tickets are on offer for pairs of trains SPT1/SPT2 for the Saigon-Phan Thiet route, SNT1/SNT2 for the Saigon-Nha Trang route, SQN1/SQN2 for the Saigon-Quy Nhon route and SE25/SE26 for the Saigon-Quang Ngai route.
These trains still apply promotions such as a 10-15% discount on fares and free meals on the train.
Besides, VNR has been selling tickets for the Thong Nhat pairs of trains: SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8 for the Hanoi-Saigon route and SE21/SE22 for the Danang-Saigon route.
