HCMC – In anticipation of the stronger travel demand in summer, the railway sector has announced plans to add more trains on key routes and launch ticket promotions.
The expansion includes six additional pairs of trains on the Hanoi-HCMC route. Additional services will also be available on routes from Hanoi to Vinh, Dong Hoi, and Danang.
To make travel more affordable, discounts will be offered to certain routes for tickets purchased from May 17 to August 18, provided they are bought 20 to 39 days prior to the date of departure.
Starting May 15, the Saigon Railway Transport JSC will commence ticket sales for the upcoming summer season.
The HCMC-Hanoi route will see daily operations. The HCMC-Danang route will also feature daily services.
For travelers heading to Quy Nhon from HCMC, trains SE30 will run on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays starting May 29.
Daily operations are scheduled for the HCMC-Nha Trang route and additional services on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from the same start date.
The HCMC-Phan Thiet route will offer daily services, ensuring continual connectivity.
