HCMC – The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) has announced the completion of the roofing structure of Passenger Terminal T3 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
This update was given during a meeting on September 17, where the progress of the construction work in recent months was reviewed, and plans for completing the roofing structure, façade and electricity systems for Terminal T3 were discussed.
The project includes four main components: the passenger terminal, a multi-storey car park, an elevated road network and an aircraft parking area. The total cost of the project is VND10,990 billion.
Terminal T3 features one basement and four above-ground floors, with a total construction area of 112,500 square meters.
Work on the terminal began in late 2022. When in service, it would be able to handle 20 million passengers annually, and accommodate all aircraft classified as codes C and E, such as Boeing 737 and 777, and Airbus A320 and A330.
