HCMC – Local retailer Saigon Co.op will launch e-vouchers in partnership with Giftee Mekong, a unit of Japan’s Giftee.
Saigon Co.op on October 21 cut a deal with Giftee Mekong to debut e-vouchers which will be applied at the retailer’s stores nationwide, including Co.opmart, Co.opXtra and Finelife.
Le Truong Son, deputy general director of Saigon Co.op, said that after employing cloud computing technology to enhance business management and speed up non-cash payments at all of its stores, Saigon Co.op continued to switch to e-vouchers to improve the quality of consumer services.
E-vouchers for corporate customers will be available on November 11, meaning that corporate customers can buy e-vouchers from Giftee Mekong to shop at Saigon Co.op stores.
In the next phase, the two firms will launch e-vouchers for individual consumers, while e-vouchers can be used at Co.op Food, Co.opSmiles and Cheers stores, and Sense City and SCViVoCity trade centers, and online Saigon Co.op shopping channels.
