That means shareholders will receive 15 new shares for every 100 shares held.

The issue is scheduled to take place in the second and third quarters of this year, with the record date expected in July 2025.

At its 2025 annual general meeting, Saigon VRG Investment Corporation approved a 32% dividend payment plan for 2024, including a 17% cash dividend and a 15% stock dividend.

Closing the trading session today, June 6, SIP fell 2.59% to VND67,700, with 497,000 shares changing hands.

On the southern exchange, widespread selling pressure triggered the steepest drop in more than a month and a half, sending the VN-Index below 1,330 points amid a surge in trading volume.

A total of 233 stocks fell, more than tripling the 76 gainers, dragging the VN-Index down 12.2 points, or 0.91% against yesterday’s session, to 1,329.89.
