HCMC — Saigon Telecom and Tech (Saigontel) and its partners have forged a research alliance with HCMC to delve into emission reduction and artificial intelligence solutions within the city’s transportation sector.

On November 15, Saigontel and its Green Infrastructure Development partners, comprising Energy Capital Vietnam, Allotrope Partners, and Maius Company, signed memorandums of understanding on the sidelines of the 30th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit in San Francisco.

These agreements outline their commitment to support emission reduction research in HCMC, focusing on addressing the challenges of sustainable urban development, particularly within the transportation domain.

The collaborative effort between Saigontel and its partners aims to explore cutting-edge technologies for low-emission renewable energy, green urban development, and sustainable agriculture. The goal is to propose innovative solutions for intelligent urban transportation, harnessing the power of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things to optimize traffic management, alleviate congestion, and curtail emissions.

In a separate accord inked in San Francisco, the Saigontel Green Infrastructure Development Alliance and Hung Yen Province reaffirm their commitment to researching opportunities for net emission reduction. This partnership underscores research efforts in renewable energy, eco-friendly agriculture, and the preservation of natural resources.
