HCMC – Nguyen Thanh Luu, deputy general director of Saigontourist Travel Service Company has been promoted to the post of CEO with a five-year term.
The 51-year-old, who earned a Master of Public Relations degree at the University of Stirling in the United Kingdom, joined Saigontourist Travel in 1996 and has risen through the ranks ever since. In 2015, he became deputy general director of the company and oversaw six out of 18 branches in the Saigontourist system nationwide.
With deep knowledge and hands-on expertise, he is expected to effectively implement the strategies of expanding Saigontourist Travel, which is a subsidiary of Saigontourist Group.
Established in 1975, Saigontourist Travel is Vietnam’s leading travel business with 18 branches, 24 offices and over 890 staff members nationwide. Saigontourist Travel has been recognized as a national brand by the Government since 2008.
