HCMC – South Korean conglomerate Samsung has launched a major hiring campaign in Vietnam, with a staggering 80,000 job openings over the next five years, starting 2022, local media reported.
The extensive recruitment drive, which began on March 10, is Samsung’s largest such initiative and covers 19 subsidiaries, including Samsung Electronics, Samsung Biologics, and Samsung C&T Corporation. These subsidiaries will be accepting applications from March 11 to 18.
Last month, the company began its search for new talent, targeting candidates with relevant work experience and educational backgrounds across 90 different fields.
From 2018 to 2020 alone, Samsung provided employment to over 40,000 individuals. Since the early 1990s, the company has eliminated academic requirements from its hiring process, prioritizing talent over formal qualifications.
