HCMC – The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Samsung Vietnam agreed to deepen cooperation on leadership training and digital transformation at a meeting in Hanoi on March 4.

Doan Minh Huan, Politburo member and director of the academy, met Na Ki Hong, general director of Samsung Vietnam, and senior executives of the company, reported the Vietnam News Agency.

Doan Minh Huan acknowledged the two sides’ previous coordination, particularly in implementing programs to train and develop senior officials.

He proposed developing Samsung into a model foreign-invested enterprise for senior public managers to visit and study. Focus areas would include human resource training, infrastructure management, innovation, digital transformation, carbon emission reduction, and next-generation FDI models.

According to Samsung Vietnam, the group’s cumulative investment in the country reached US$24 billion by 2025. It operates six manufacturing plants, one research and development center, and one sales entity in Bac Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Hanoi and HCMC, employing about 85,000 workers.

Samsung Vietnam reported revenue of US$64.9 billion and export turnover of US$57.1 billion in 2025. Company representatives attributed the stable business results to support from the Party, the Government and local authorities.

The two sides also discussed organizing a seminar on trends in artificial intelligence and digital transformation in a new era. The event is intended to update knowledge on AI and expand cultural exchanges between the two countries.
