Must read

On May 11st in Ho Chi Minh City, the “Online training capacity-building for young underprivileged people” program benefiting 700 young Vietnamese was launched. Within the “A Million Conversations” initiative of Sanofi Global, this educational project is implemented by Sanofi in collaboration with the NGO Passerelles numériques Vietnam, UAN Network under Conversion Asia, and the G.A.P Institute.

Specifically, the project aims to provide 700 accounts for young people from underprivileged backgrounds to access and study 27 professional certification online training courses in 03 fields: Tech careers, Data careers and Business careers on the Coursera platform. With training programs provided by many of the world’s leading companies such as Google, IBM, Meta…, young people not only have the opportunity to learn new knowledge, cutting-edge skills, but they can also earn professional certificates after each course to gain access to more career opportunities in the future. The total estimated investment for the courses under the project in Vietnam is about VND7 billion. These courses are valid for one year, from June 2023.

Mr. Emin Turan, General Manager of Sanofi Vietnam, shared: “This project is one of Sanofi’s CSR efforts to promote the educational foundation for the young generation, the human resources that determine future development of the country. We want to reduce educational inequality for industries that are developing and have a demand to recruit high-quality human resources, so that young talented people may have more opportunities to contribute to improving the quality of lives and the advancement of their local communities, and society.”
