Nestled amidst the lush landscapes of Quang Ngai Province, Savan Waterfall offers unspoiled natural beauty and a tranquil atmosphere, providing an idyllic escape from the scorching summer heat.

Savan Waterfall is located in Go Tranh Hamlet, Long Son Commune, Minh Long District, Quang Ngai Province, just over 20 kilometers from the downtown of Quang Ngai. The waterfall is divided into several smaller cascades, each with its own unique beauty, creating an interesting space for visitors to explore. At the foot of the waterfall, trails run alongside the stream, featuring flat, wide stone tables where visitors can rest. Additionally, natural pools formed by rocks blocking the water flow offer perfect spots for a refreshing swim.

The waterfall serves as a vital water source for irrigating dozens of hectares of farmland in the area. With its clear, cool water, Savan Waterfall is surrounded by the shade of ancient trees and fascinating moss-covered stone steps.

The pristine and lush scenery surrounding Savan Waterfall

Visitors are advised to bring a small stick to help navigate the stream and traverse the waterfall, as the path can be rugged and slippery. They can also take breaks or swim in the natural ponds along the way. Immersing oneself in the cool, refreshing water of the waterfall brings an extraordinary sense of relaxation.

Savan Waterfall’s pristine beauty makes it ideal for activities such as waterfall bathing and picnics during the summer season. The mist blends with the air, creating a comfortable sensation as tiny droplets settle on the skin. Besides Savan Waterfall, tourists visiting Minh Long District can also explore Trang Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Quang Ngai, as well as Dong Cam and Bieu Qua lakes. Visitors can also learn about the life of the Hre and Hoa ethnic minorities. Additionally, Ong Trieu Mountain, resembling a giant elephant facing the Thach Bich peak, provides another interesting place to visit in the province.
