HCMC – The SCG Sharing The Dream 2023 scholarship program was launched on the morning of October 5, with total funding of VND2.7 billion for 200 disadvantaged yet outstanding students from across the nation.

This program is a joint effort between the Central Communist Youth Union, the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization, Siam Cement Group (SCG), and the HCMC Student Assistance Center (SAC).

Its primary objective is to help strong-willed Vietnamese students who are living a tough life and encourage their contributions to the community through environmental and social initiatives.

Carrying the theme “Changemaker Gen: Transform Challenges into Sustainable Dreams,” the program will award 100 scholarships to underprivileged students nationwide.

An additional 100 scholarships will be granted to promising college students attending public institutions in the country. Special consideration will be given to those pursuing degrees in engineering, design, environmental studies, and economics (specifically Marketing, Business Administration, and Accounting).

SCG Sharing The Dream 2023 also includes immersive factory and office workplace tours of SCG’s facilities. These visits offer students a firsthand glimpse into industry operations, helping them connect their academic knowledge to real-world applications.

For the past 16 years, the SCG Sharing The Dream Scholarship program has consistently supported the development of Vietnam’s educational sector.
