HCMC – The Department for Roads of Vietnam will conduct inspections of 17 BOT toll stations across the country from April to October this year to assess their management, operations, and toll collection processes.

According to the Vietnam News Agency, the forthcoming inspections are part of the 2025 inspection and supervision plan for toll stations on the national highway systems under the department’s management.

In northern Vietnam, the inspections will cover the BOT Thai Nguyen-Cho Moi station on National Highway 3, the toll station on National Highway 38, the Viet Tri-Ba Vi Bridge (Van Lang Bridge) station in Phu Tho Province, the Thai Ha Bridge station in Thai Binh Province, and the Bac Thang Long-Noi Bai toll station in Hanoi.

In the Central and Central Highlands regions, the stations under review include the Tasco Quang Binh station on National Highway 1 in Quang Binh Province, Ben Thuy and Ben Thuy 2 stations in Nghe An Province, and toll stations along National Highway 1 in Binh Dinh, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Khanh Hoa provinces. Additionally, the toll station on the Ho Chi Minh Road in Gia Lai Province will be inspected.

In the southern region, authorities will inspect toll stations on National Highway 1 in Soc Trang Province, the Ca Na station on National Highway 1 in Ninh Thuan Province, the Lien Dam station on National Highway 20 in Lam Dong Province, the Co Chien Bridge station on National Highway 60 in Tra Vinh Province, and the My Loi Bridge station on National Highway 50 in Tien Giang Province.

The Department for Roads of Vietnam has instructed regional road management units to establish inspection teams and draft detailed supervision plans in line with the approved schedule.

The process must be transparent and open, with units required to submit their inspection schedules at least 10 days before implementation.

Following each inspection, regional road management authorities must announce the results within seven days and submit reports to the department, which will then forward the findings to the Ministry of Transport.
