Sheraton Nha Trang Hotel & Spa has named Marco Pistillo as its new executive chef. The appointment brings a wealth of international culinary experience and leadership to one of the region’s most prominent hospitality establishments.
Chef Pistillo most recently served as executive chef at the Grand Hyatt Jakarta, where he managed a team of over 100 culinary professionals. During his tenure, he implemented strategies that improved guest satisfaction, enhanced food quality, optimized operational costs, and contributed to revenue growth.
Originally from Italy’s northern Lombardia region, Pistillo began his culinary career in London in 2006. He has since held key roles in Michelin-starred restaurants and across Hyatt properties in Vietnam, China, the United Arab Emirates, and Indonesia. His experience includes assignments at Hyatt Regency Danang and positions in Shenzhen, Abu Dhabi, and Jakarta.
Pistillo plans to introduce new culinary concepts across the hotel’s five restaurants and bars, emphasizing fresh local seafood, sustainability, and high-quality ingredients.
The 280-room Sheraton Nha Trang, overlooking one of the world’s most beautiful bays, has been a fixture of the city’s hospitality sector for 14 years. The hotel’s dining venues include Altitude, the highest rooftop bar along Tran Phu Street.
