Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel has kicked off the 2025 year-end festivities with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony and a lineup of culinary and cultural programs themed The Grand Opera Fantasia – Heritage in Harmony.
The celebration reflects the hotel’s 22-year presence in HCMC and comes ahead of the opening of its Grand Opera Tower in 2025. More than 300 guests, including hotel patrons, business partners, media and children from the Thu Duc Youth Village, attended the ceremony held in the hotel’s grand lobby. The event featured musical performances, holiday décor and activities designed to evoke the festive spirit.
The hotel’s team spent weeks preparing festive decorations, including a six-meter Christmas tree and heritage-inspired designs throughout the property. The décor symbolizes joy, generosity and the spirit of giving.
Sheraton Saigon also relaunched its annual charity program, Wishing Upon a Star, part of Marriott International’s Serve 360 initiative. Guests can select a star from the Christmas tree and contribute gifts to underprivileged children, supporting wishes collected from community partners.
