Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel has unveiled its 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival mooncake line, The Grand Opera Collection, which combines more than two decades of handcrafted culinary expertise with packaging inspired by opera and ballet.
Created by a team of over 60 chefs, the collection features eight flavors, including XO scallop, mixed nuts, white lotus, pandan, Longjing tea and yuzu. The recipes draw on traditional techniques from the hotel’s Li Bai Restaurant, known for its Cantonese cuisine.
The collection offers three gift box designs – Prelude, Harmony and Grand Finale – styled after opera stages, ballet performances and vintage travel trunks. The hotel said the reusable boxes are intended as keepsakes as well as festive packaging.
General Manager Julian Wong said the collection is “more than a tribute to reunion — it is an overture to a new chapter at Sheraton Saigon,” referring to the return of the Grand Opera Tower, which is expected to elevate the property’s luxury offerings.
The mooncakes are priced from VND1,388,000 to VND2,888,000 per box and are available at the hotel lobby from August 1 to October 6.
