HCMC – Sai Gon VRG Investment Corporation (HOSE: SIP) is set to distribute its first interim dividend for 2025, totaling more than VND242 billion.
The company will pay out 10% in cash, equivalent to VND1,000 per share, to shareholders on the record date of November 20. Payment is expected on December 18.
With over 242 million shares outstanding, the dividend payment aligns with the company’s robust performance. In the third quarter of 2025, Sai Gon VRG reported net revenue of nearly VND2,234 billion, up 13% year-on-year, while its after-tax profit rose 22% to around VND382 billion.
Closing the trading session today, November 18, SIP shares closed at VND59,700, down 1.32%, with 308,500 shares changing hands, bringing the company’s market capitalization to approximately VND14.4 trillion.
The VN-Index added 5.50 points, or 0.33%, to close at 1,659.92. Total trading volume reached over 768.4 million shares worth VND22,256.7 billion, up slightly by 3% in value from the previous session. Block deals contributed more than 67.6 million shares worth at VND2,538 billion.
Among VN30 stocks, price movements were mixed with moderate fluctuations. VNM and GVR led declines, shedding 2–3% to VND60,700 and VND28,250, respectively, followed by minor drops in GAS, FPT, LPB, and BCM. On the upside, TPB gained 2.6% to VND17,600, VPB rose 2.5% to VND28,800, and VHM increased 2.1% to VND97,000.
Mid-cap and small-cap stocks remained largely flat, though several seafood-related names outperformed after the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) reported 10-month seafood exports reached US$9.5 billion, up 16% year-on-year. ANV surged 6.9% to VND30,800 on 6.63 million shares traded, IDI rose 4.6% to VND7,710 on 2.19 million shares, and VHC climbed 3.4% to VND60,700.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index slipped 1.33 points, or 0.49%, to 267.36 with 55 gainers and 72 losers. Total trading volume reached 72.2 million shares, valued at VND1,563 billion. Block deals accounted for 6.6 million shares worth VND117.5 billion.
